9 more ways to make your hair look great

We know healthy hair is one of your best assets when it comes to outside beauty. Previously I talked about wet and dry shampoos so you don’t strip away the natural oils from your scalp.

But there are times when your hair needs more, think about conditioners and serums that hydrate and nourish your hair with vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.

For example, Biosilk Silk Therapy is a weightless, leave-in treatment made with silk proteins to help repair, smooth, and protect. There are also serum treatments that contain moisturizing ingredients to help restore weak or brittle hair. Aloe Dual-Active Hair Serum is especially good for damaged or chemically processed hair.  It also tames frizz and flyaways to give you that glossy shine. Hair masks are great because they are also nutrient-enriched and can help repair damaged split ends plus protect your hair from heat.

Additional products include cream gels that give you a light hold; and weightless hair sprays that add volume to thinning hair.

Once you establish the right combination of products, consider styling tools made with advanced ceramic and ionic technologies. Avon has a couple of different styling irons. You can even get a hairdryer that emits negative ions to reduce drying time.

Finally, nothing beats a regular haircut. (I go every 4-6 weeks.) Every hairstyle looks best when the ends are neatly trimmed. A good cut with the right regime is one of the easiest ways to bring out the best and beautiful you.

Now I know I’ve thrown a lot of products and ideas for you to think about. That’s why I always encourage my readers to reach out with questions…or simply have a chat. If there’s one thing I love, it’s exchanging ideas.
