Who are the people in your life whom you trust the most? Think about both those who are present and those you’ve lost touch with. As you reflect on these important connections, who are the ones you want to have in your life?

If I had married Scott the first time he asked, it’s probably safe to say we would not be together now. My story details the journey I had to take, and the lessons I learned to become a good partner – both to myself and to him. It wasn’t easy. It required me to dig deep and learn some hard, essential truths about myself along the way.

This brings me to why I encourage you to reflect on the people from your past, and those who are currently in your life. The foundation of building your community lies in identifying those who enrich your days, versus those who drain your energy. You are the CEO (Chief Energy Officer) of your life.
