Give yourself the gift of health – continued

In last month’s blog, I shared how December 2025 was truly a month to remember—though not for the reasons I’d hoped. The two basal cell carcinoma surgeries on my face and neck – followed by recovery – was tougher than I anticipated. It stole precious time and energy.  The healing has been incredible, and I credit it to  Avon’s Beyond Glow Snail Mucin.

If there’s one thing I can urge you to do, it’s this: Get your skin checked. Don’t skip the dermatologist, and protect yourself daily. Make SPF your BFF.

Then, just when I thought I was in the clear, my health continued to take center stage.

In the middle of a PAL meeting, I was rushed via ambulance (my first ever experience) to the hospital and diagnosed with gastritis and syncope.  I woke up from that to a severe sinus infection. It was a wake-up call. While we can’t predict every health scare, we can prepare our minds.

Resilience is a Choice.  Medical pros can mend the body, and mental health is what keeps us standing. Learning how our thoughts control emotions – and how that leads to our actions – is the key.  Learning to set boundaries and understand my needs over others is how I’ve overcome all this.

It’s why I created T.E.A.—to help you embrace whatever life throws your way.  Join the next course now.
