A Peek Inside

 I have been sharing my life journey and the things I’ve learned along the way (call them “ahas”). With so much negative “chat” these days, I am grateful to experience success in both my personal and professional life. What’s even more gratifying is the feedback I get from others.

God used three people to tell me that I needed to start charging for my time. For example, Michelle, the PAL facilitator, recommended this to me a year ago. I was flattered, but I dismissed it. I thought she was trying to encourage me.

If you read my story, you know that before Avon, I worked in corporate America, where it feels like everything requires a degree. Without a piece of paper showing my investment of tens of thousands of dollars (plus years in college), I thought I didn’t have the credentials for the position and the pay that would come with it. It did not matter that I could do the work. The message was clear – don’t even try for it.

This is why I am an entrepreneur. It doesn’t require a degree.

However, I have had so many people tell me that I give them what they need to evaluate and rethink their lives. I knew I could do more. I wanted to do more. The only thing holding me back was the limiting belief that a degree was necessary to do this. I needed to overcome that belief.

I began asking God what He said. This led me on a journey to find a Life Coach Certification program. He pointed me to Transformation Academy, then throughout the whole GLS (Global Leadership Summit) – the message was so loud and clear that I enrolled!

I became a Certified Master Mindset Coach by the end of 2021!!!
